Biography:
Girls' Generation (Hangul: 소녀시대, Romanized: Sonyeo Sidae) is a nine-member South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. The nine members are: Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun. They are often referred to as SoShi (소시), or SNSD (mainly outside Korea), the first of which is an abbreviation and the second an acronym of the group's Korean name So Nyeo Shi Dae. In China and Taiwan, they are known as 少女時代 (Shàonǚ Shídài; or Siu Nui Si Doi in Hong Kong) and in Japan as 少女時代 (Shōjo Jidai). The group has released two full albums, three mini-albums, and various singles. Their 2009 hit single "Gee" holds the record for being the longest running #1 song on KBS's Music Bank, having held the #1 chart ranking for 9 consecutive weeks. 2009 and 2010 also saw the group winning various awards, including consecutive Artist of the Year (Daesang) awards at the Seoul Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, Melon Music Awards, and the Korean Cultural Entertainment Awards.
The group began a foray into the Japanese music scene in late 2010 under Nayutawave Records, a part of Universal Music, with the Japanese remakes of their 2009 Korean hits "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)" and "Gee".2010 saw the group reach considerable success in Japan, and solidifying their title as the "National Girl Group" in Korea after winning the prestigious Disk Daesang (Album of the Year) and Artist of the Year at the Golden Disk Awards and Melon Music Awards respectively.The group was certified gold by the RIAJ twice in Japan.

Biography :

Sean Harland Murray (born November 15, 1977) is an American actor. He is known for playing Timothy McGee in the CBS television drama NCIS and Danny Walden in the military drama JAG

Early life

Murray was born in Bethesda, Maryland, outside Washington, D.C. He spent his childhood near Coffs Harbour inNew South Wales , Australia, and holds dual citizenship in the U.S. and Australia.[1] His mother is Vivienne, fourth wife of American television producer and screenwriter, Donald Bellisario, making him Bellisario's stepson.

Career

Murray's television credits include a starring role in the UPN sitcom The Random Years and a supporting role as teenager Zane Grey Hart in CBS's comedy/western series, Harts of the West, with Beau Bridges as his father and Harley Jane Kozak as his mother. Lloyd Bridges also starred in the series. The program was set on a dude ranch in Nevada. Mark Harmon, star of NCIS, appeared in a 1993 episode of Harts of the West entitled "The Right Stuff" in the role of a rodeo clown.
Murray has made several television guest appearances, including ER. In addition, Murray has appeared in several feature films including Hocus Pocus (in which he played Thackery Binx), This Boy's Life, and in Todd Field's Too Romantic.

Family

He is the stepson of television producer Donald Bellisario. His brother, Chad W. Murray, is a producer on NCIS. His stepsister, Troian Bellisario, now star of ABC Family's original series Pretty Little Liars, also played Sarah McGee on NCIS, while his mother, Vivienne, appeared in Season 1 of NCIS as the Mysterious Redhead usually seen with Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
Murray married Carrie James on November 26, 2005. They had their first child, a daughter named Caitlyn Melissa Murray, on May 3, 2007.The couple's second child, River James Murray, was born in Los Angeles on April 22, 2010.
In the fourth season commentary of NCIS, Murray revealed that his father, Craig Murray, was once the Executive Officer (XO) of the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Enterprise.
